King Bowser Koopa is the main antagonist of the Mario franchise. He is king of the Koopas and the arch-enemy of Mario. Bowser's main plan is to kidnap Princess Peach, marry her, and rule the Mushroom Kingdom, but he is always beaten by Mario. Bowser has a softer side, as he loves his children and sometimes goes karting with Mario.

Bowser is very power-hungry and corrupt. He is rather egotistical, referring to himself as the King of Awesome. Bowser admitted he was jealous of Princess Peach and Mario's friendship.
